January
--In the Month of January Mt. Zion "Helping Hands" Ministry
sponsored a Benefit Garage Sale in Warner Robins.
And a Benefit Bake sale for one of our very own
Deacons with Cancer.
February
In February Mt. Zion enjoyed Celebrating Black History Month
each Sunday of February.
1st Sunday-Acknowledgements from the Past to the Present of Notable Black Historians
who contributed in many different ways.
2nd Sunday- We recognized local Heros with first from Mt. Zion as well as in the
surrounding communities. Also we had Reflections from two of our wise and knowledgeable members.
3rd- Sunday- The Mt. Zion Youth Celebrated Black History Month with dance
and with Character impersonations of Heros. We also wore African attire
4th Sunday-We chose to dress in 50-60's Sharecropper attire. We had a photo
session with only black and white photos developed instantly.
As well as our Family Dinner.

We installed a new Mt. Zion Sign outside of our church with updated
information as well as a message board.

Youth Fest- One day full of Fun and Games, Barbecue and Water Balloons.
Moon walk, Tug of War an More..
Mt Zion Youth went back to school with new school supplies donated by
friends of the Ministry.
September
Homecoming- "Home is Where the Heart Is", Old friends and new ones enjoyed
Homecoming Services Sept. 1st. followed by A Family Dinner.
Baptism Six were baptized on 09/25
